Section 1 (Session II)

The economy of trust: digital labeling in the Russian Federation and EAEU as the baseline of transparent environment for business, government and consumers. «Unified product traceability system on the territory of the EAEU»

Issues: In the past few years, the EAEU states managed to take their relations with business to the new level of transparency and comfortability. This progresses in the process of implementing various digital projects and undoubtedly contributes to the «whitening» of the economy. The current trend in the world is track & trace projects (labelling and traceability of products). In the next 8-10 years the global market of such solutions is expected to grow actively and become the ground for the digital economy of the future. Nowadays, a concept of labelling system and a digital platform for the free movement of goods across the borders of the EAEU countries are being created. By the end of the year, Russia and Kazakhstan scheduled to start a joint pilot on the traceability for tobacco products. T & T is a global trend as a new traceability system improves business efficiency. How to develop an advanced traceability system in the EAEU so that the current decisions would take into account global trends? How to adapt the system for a wide range of users and expanse it to new product groups and countries? What do participants of discussion think about the architecture of a system and infrastructure of basic information resources? Participants of the panel session will give answers to these and other questions.
